Introduced to Yoga in 1972, Robert  has studied with TKV Desikachar, his family and various senior students in the lineage of T. Krishnamacharya for over 20 years.   In 2006, he became one of a handful of people certified by TKV Desikachar to train teachers.

Robert is also a certified Positive Psychology Coach. His ability to integrate  the spirituality and techniques of Yoga, the worlds oldest study of mind, with the tools of Positive Psychology, a modern, wellness-based science, imbues his teachings with a profound  scope, depth, and precision.

Currently residing  in Los Angeles, Robert offers Therapeutic Yoga Coaching, Teacher Training and Mentorship programs.  He  teaches Yoga Psychology for Yoga Works and is a fairly popular faculty member at Loyola Marymount’s Yoga Therapist Program.

Robert specializes in Yoga for Relationships and personal transformation. He has lectured internationally and will have his books on  Yoga, Relationships, and Positive Psychology published shortly after he finishes writing them.

Eleni drank deep from the Yoga cup in 1995 while practicing law in Sydney, Australia. She soon completed the Sydney Yoga Center’s teacher training course, quit the legal profession and followed her dream to teach Yoga full time.

In 2004 She ventured to Los Angeles and began intensive study with Robert Birnberg, a senior teacher in the Krishnamacharya Lineage. The central focus of her studies was the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali , the planet’s first spiritual psychology text and Yoga therapy manual.

She is a certified Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist (CAS), a Pancha Karma Specialist (PKS) and a Western Herbalist. Today, she has a thriving clinicalAyurvedic practice and creates confident home healers with her popular “Ayurvedic Skills for Living” courses. She is a faculty member at  Loyola Marymount University’s Yoga Therapy program and at the California College of Ayurveda, where she teaches and mentor students.

Eleni’s extensive knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Positive Psychology supports her  passion for teaching and healing.

A lifelong student, she continues to study with Mary Thomson, senior teacher at CCA,. renowned herbalist, KP Kalsa, and her Yoga teacher and husband, Robert Birnberg.
