Experience
Yoga as it’s been taught to adults for thousands of
years: private, personal, and prescriptive.
Unlike the current generic group class model,
(historically taught only to children) this is Yoga as a
comprehensive self-care system, a transformative healing
art. Together, we address the individual’s specific
needs, limitations and goals with far greater precision
than is possible in a group class.
Studying in this traditional manner encourages the
student to cultivate a regular personal practice,
utilizing: breath work, postures, sound, reflection,
visualization, meditation, ritual, or whatever is needed
to accomplish the goal. This focus promotes increased
physical, mental and emotional health, leading to
measurable improvements in all areas of living.
